Morro Redondo Tourmaline in silver & 18k

Here is a special piece <3  I had been doing alot of wax casting and custom work so I wanted to fabricate something a little different. This piece was inspired by traditional ornamental design and I was trying to push to see about how small of I could make these floral elements . Each leaf is hand carved and soldered in place <3 The center stone is a special piece I was able to acquire at the local gemshow here in ABQ from a retired jeweler. Morro Redondo tourmalines of this size and clarity are getting much harder to find, this stone had been sitting in a safe since the 90's. 
Sterling silver and 18k accents with a fused bail.
Comes with a 24" 3mm silver snake chain
Hangs just under 1.4" tall
The stone is 23mm x 5mm
